Hot Topic/Speciality Training


As new state or federal legislation is passed, or as new problems and issues surface, MTAS responds by offering courses on-site and statewide. The timeliness of these sessions are a key advantage to municipalities needing information quickly.

Specialty Training

MTAS offers courses on:

  • Stormwater Phase II
  • Water and Wastewater System Security Assessments
  • Wastewater Laboratory Analysis
  • Water System Regulatory Requirements
  • Utility Construction and more.

Registration

MTAS may charge nominal fees for hot topic and specialty training.

Credits

Elective credit will be awarded for pre-approved MTAS Hot Topic and Specialty training. Participants seeking credit must complete MTAS registration forms. Credit earned through these sessions may be applied to the Policy Maker and Public Administrator certificates.
